The Student Leaders’ Summit is an inaugural event organised by Hwa Chong Institution and co-facilitated with Nanyang Girls’ High School. Through empathetic discussions, we aim to inspire interest in social issues that plague our societies today, and innovate actionable change to impact our own communities.

The logo for the 1st SLS is centred around two hands, symbolising differing views, and the perpetual need for us to reach out to those of other perspectives. In doing so, the heartbeat – our emotional connection and empathy to others – is what will breed mutual appreciation and understanding, and hold our volatile world together.
GUEST OF HONOUR
Choi Shing Kwok is a distinguished leader with extensive experience in academia and the civil service. This includes his current role as Director of ISEAS - Yusof Ishak Institute on Southeast Asian Studies, as well as previous roles as Permanent Secretary of Transport and Environment. We look forward to his fresh, inspirational insights in ASEAN and global dynamics from his long and meritorious career!
